I loves it! But wait, I heard a rumor that they were going to change the name to Avatar: the Legend of Aang so they could have more airbenders. Am I to understand that rumor is false?

Avatar: The Legend of Aang is what the show is called in foreign countries (I don't really know why.. but it has something to do with what the word 'bender' means in those countries...  ). There is an interview with Mike and Bryan saying that Aang is the last airbender. Someone asked at the Comic Con if that could change... if they could return. Mike and Bryan said that "some effects of war can't just be fixed." (total paraphrasing but whatever). I would say the rumor is false.. |

Mike and Bryan said in an interview that Book 3: Fire was the last season of Avatar that focuses on Aang's story. Now if there is another season in probably wouldn't be Book 4: Air and it won't center around the story of Aang anymore. It would center around a different protagonist with a different plot and everything. Mike and Bryan said they would like to explore more with the Avatar universe, but we don't knwo how long until another series by them comes out (or IF it comes out)
