I have wondered. Since Iroh is the eldest son and was inline for firelord is he stronger than Oazi? Or is Oazi stronger due to his drive to be firelord at all costs.

Well Oazi WAS more powerful until Iroh became buff now iroh is more powerful. i would like to agree but ozai has a lot of drive and desire to be strong. if it came down to equal firebending powerskills i worry that ozai would beat iroh due to the fact that iroh does not want to fight. iroh might not forgive himself if he killed his brother. ozai does not care who he kills or hurts as long as he wins. i hope we never have to find out. i would hope iroh kicks his butt, but you can never tell.

that is so true. but as zuko said in the firebending masters he was so strong due to anger and rage. he lost his bending skill when he was no longer anger. then he had to relearn everything all over. ozai is still filled with anger and if iroh becomes a threat again that will make him even angerer due to all he fought against to be come firelord. if his throne is in jepordy he will be totally enraged. is irohs training strong enough to combat ozais rage in that setting? i would like to think so. i hope so. go iroh.

But Zuko made a comment about how "he was always jelous then his brother" i think he might think Izai is stronger. And if Iroh could beat him, why hasn't he? He could end it all there and ensure Zuko got the throne without becomeing a traitor.

i think Iroh is stronger but if it came to a fight ozai would win because Iroh would refuse to fight, walk away and then ozia would kill him from behind. or something along those lines. the main idea is Iroh wouldnt want to kill him.

That's true, but i don't think Iroh wouldn't want to fight, i think he would hesatate to kill his brother and Ozai would use that opening. I guess it all comes down to how you veiw strength.
