All over the United States, gas prices had been overwhelming earlier in the year, reaching to prices over $4.00 a gallon. But now, eventhough gas prices have gone down so much, and are down to just over $2.00 a gallon in some places, people wonder if the gas prices will go up again.
Many people say 'yes', even with the knowledge of them being the lowest since Febuary 2007. So why do they think so? Well, people think that it will go back up after the 2008 Presidential election mainly because it is a big event, and the fact that the pattern in the past few years has shown that gas has gone up and down a lot through time.
