“Hi Aang!” yelled Toph as Aang made his was toward the house. Toph was outside practicing her earth bending. He went to her side and began his practice too. As their practice went on a conversion came along also.
“So Toph have you heard anything about Sokka yet?” Aang asked. Toph blushed, then her smile turned to a frown. In her heart she still had a place for Sokka, but now she had an eye on someone else, someone she liked…a lot.
“No I haven’t, sorry Aang.” replied Toph. He felt disappointed. He was only 15 and Sokka will soon be 20, but right now he is still 19. Aang hasn’t been able to talk to him in months just because he was caught up in avatar business. His inside his life he felt like old friendships with old pals were disappearing or slipping away… slowly. He also still loved Katara deeply, but he didn’t know if she felt the same way as he did for her. The only reason Toph was living in his house is because she can’t stand her parents. Aang looked at Toph… then at the spur of the moment suddenly Aang stopped bending and ran into the house. Toph was puzzled and scared that something bad had happened.
“Aang! Aang?! What are you doing?” screamed Toph as she was running into the house. When she got into the house she saw Aang with a bag of a few things. It looked like he was leaving.
“Aang what are you doing?” repeated Toph.
“I’m leaving for a while, you’re welcome to come along.” said Aang in a rushed voice. She stared at Aang and realized that she should go. A few seconds later Toph was out of her room with a few things in her bag. They were off to go…go where every Aang needed to go.
~Same Day~ the Place, Keoshi Island~
The sun was beginning to set. The sky was like watercolors, splashed over a piece of paper. I was sitting on a rock looking over the sea. In the distance I could hear my name being called for. I didn’t want to move. My mind was filled with confusion. I had so many questions to answer, but I did not know what to do. After all I was only 19.

“Suki! Where are you?” yelled someone in the distance.

That was me being called. I better go; after all, he is taking me out for a date.
“Hey Suki there you are. I have been looking everywhere for you.” said Sokka.
“Sorry I was just out here looking at the sunset.” replied Suki. Today felt like a special day Suki felt so nervous for this date. She felt something different was going to happen. She and Sokka have been dating for the past 2 years. They both loved each other. Suki got up and walked over to Sokka and held his hand. She was wearing a green silk dress that reached to the floor. The dress had 2 slits on the side that went up to the knee. Her hair was up in a bun and her eyes where as blue as the sea at night. Sokka also held Suki’s 0hand; he wore a nice blue shirt and nice black pants. They walked back into the city together talking about how life was and how everything was. They walked through tall trees then they started to see lights and finally they made it back into town. Sokka took Suki over to a small cute common restaurant. They walked in and were soon placed to a seat. They sat and order their food. Sokka and Suki talked for a little but Suki knew something was different tonight. After a while they finished, Sokka paid, and they left.
They walked down a path that was lit by fireflies. There was a swing to Sokka’s left. He motioned Suki to sit on the swing with him. They began to swing back and forth; they could both see the sea across them. The night was dark, but the fireflies made it light again. There were also a couple lanterns by the swing.
“Suki…do you love me?” asked Sokka, his eyes were filled with questions. Suki felt so surprised he was asking this question.
“Sokka of course I love you. I love you with all my heart. I remember the first time I met you. You were so jealous that a girl fought you and won.” said Suki. Sokka smiled he did remember that day, he felt like that was millions of years ago. Now is a new change in life. Sokka got up and off the swing and turned around and went on his knee, he was facing Suki. He held is her hand in his.
“Suki, the first time I saw you I knew that you were the one. You were so skilled and beautiful. I will always love you and care for you.” said Sokka. He then reached into his pocket and took out a box. He opened it and inside was a ring. Suki was overwhelmed, tears filled her eyes.
“Suki, will you marry me?” said Sokka. Suki didn’t need to time to think she loved Sokka with all her heart too.
“Yes, Yes I will marry you.” said Suki. She got up and Sokka got up they hugged and kissed. Sokka picked her up off her feet and twirled around in joy. They kissed on more time and Sokka took out the ring which had a beautiful diamond on it, it wasn’t too big or small; it was perfect. He put the ring on her left hand on her ring finger. They were now engaged. They walked back into the city with joy spread across their faces.
