Katara is not going to kill zuko because I heard rumors that Katara is gonna forgive Zuko at avatar book 3 chapter 15 the boiling rock part 2

does he really have a choice ? If he doesnt both the fire nation AND Katara would kill him! Am I right ? totally! i think the only reason Zuko was "bad" before was because he thought he was being good. i mean that's what his family and country had always told him. I mean when Iroh told him to "be good" Zuko just tried to convince himself that he was "being good" by staying loyal to his country. The fact that he was able to choose to join the Avatar means that he had to redefine the words good and loyal and he still probably considers himself a traitor to his country, even if he is doing the best thing for them.

Katara couldn't kill anyone in cold blood, but in the heat of battle if someone did someting to really piss her off..... you never know. It's totally possible.
By the way, I would like to say that Zuko does not consider himself a traitor since the last episode. Yay less depressing!

I dont think Zuko was scared by Katara's threat, cuz he really had no reaction whatsoever. But... that's just my opinion.

Not to mention, anytime Katara is a jerk to him he just takes it. He had a total reaction to it. he accepts all the nastiness as his 'due' for his past actions. he wants to show them he is on their side and that he will not hurt them. he did seem upset when katara threatened him. i think he takes it because he has been trained to. oazi always took things out on zuko so this something he has delt with quite a bit.

There isn't a lot of evidence of this abuse from Ozai, but it is possible, but it is still a theory and should be stated as such.

ozai it seems always singled out zuko for not being like him. not being strong enough, not agressive enough, not cold enough. if azula spoke out in the war room what do you think ozai would have done? punished her or listened to her statement. then look back: ozai was willing to kill zuko for power. i don't think he would have been that eager to kill azula. ozai sees ursa and iroh in zuko and he hates it. but zuko has finally figured out what might make him happy. i think he will stay good (at long last). in Boiling rock he could have told sokka they need to leave it was to dangerous. or he could have turned sokka in. but instead he allowed himself to be captured and started a fight that got him put in the cooler to help sokka out. he put himself at risk to help sokka find suki and his dad and helped with the planns to escape. he will remain good.
TO RISE ABOVE
Each morning is a disappointment laying at my feet Every conflict with you father a heartache I must meet
Why should I rise above the plans you set for me It would be so much easier to simply bend to thee
But then to myself I would surely be lost And though it may be easier to high would be the cost
And so I must fight regardless of fear or pain To the spirit that lies within I must in truth remain
To rise above the memories that linger in my soul To rise above the destiny that you had long foretold To rise above and be who I would choose to be
