hmm.....you sure? i'm not saying you're wrong, i'm just wondering if you've actually thought about it: Sokka doesn't like bending since he thinks its cheating, magical, and a 'wrong' way of war. What if he just doesn't want to see if he can bend?

no remember Toph mentions it in the episode ''The Chase'' that he doesnt count as an accual person or something cause he cant bend . Thats why hes the ''boomerang guy''!!

hmm... that would be pretty cool if he could bend, but i luv him just the way he is ! if he could bend he wouldnt be as funny , would he ?

If he could bend it would diminish his character. Sokka shows children that you don't have to be a bender in the world of Avatar to be a good fighter. Mai and Ty Lee do this also but they are also considered "bad guys".
If Sokka could bend.. he would be worthless. Two Kataras would be in the show versus one Katara and one Sokka

And the reason is? Distraction? Or is noodle helplessly in love? Don't feel pressured by me butting into your love life.. If its confidential I won't press you for it. Anyway, this could lead to Sokka's romances.. If he could bend Sukka wouldn't have happened  . And the Tokka friendship would be different too! Gasp! It could have changed Yukka too.. I don't know. I gotta think about it more |
