i heard that there will be a 4th season and it will be about Ang making everything better in the world. If they do make a 4th then apparently it will be called the air book. if anyone has any info plz tell me.

No way. The Finale is it, then its over. They said their might be anouther spin off series in the avatar world but it would be with different charecters. Their might be a book or manga series for air but that is just their way of milking it. Their won't be a tv part of it.

unless there is perhaps hidden Air Nomads that live in secret from the rest of the world. I'm not sure where, but I heard there was some leaked information where Aang discovers a secret tunnel where the nomads in the western air temple escaped into, which explains why the western air temple isn't as damaged as the other temples (fire benders would attack if there were people to attack).

well it could be gernetic and there are airbenders who dont know that they are airbenders and they just think that there nonbenders. or they could do something rly gay like ang sacrefices himself to bring them back. pluss the 4th season could be him grown up doing somthing then.

Aang is the last known air bender ;D Besides the genetic concept is right, remember the fortuneteller episode where there is a set of twins and only one of them is a bender? Also I said Nomads not benders, meaning that there could still be benders in the future if such survivors were to actually exist. Again this is leaked information that I heard somewhere |

But only genetics makes sense or else there wouldn't be nantions or tribes defined by the elements. Yes, one of the brothers couldn't bend, but that just proves my point. I mean if they are twin brothers most likely almost all the elements of their upbringing have been similar, accept their DNA. No one ever said they were identical twin brothers.
But that is besides the point, i just don't beleave their will be other air benders, it just doesn't make sense. It's not that i don't want there to be, i just don't think their are going to be more. ANd if this really is leaked info please say its a romur or else they'll move this thread to the spoilers section.
And nicozila, please don't use "gay" as a negative insult. I would prefer if you used other words please.

or maby it will be like a new series so instead of being avatar the last airbender it will be something like avatar restoring the peace. knowing them they will try and milk this as much as they can because its so popular. also if they left it at this there would probably be a lot of really unhappy people so then some one who had any idea about marketing would buy it and make a new season. or even still if they made a new show they could make it like 1000 years in the futour about a new avatar and him having to do something. plus if they didn't come back then there wouldn't be balance in the world. then there is also the thing that they could start again like the first airbenders did. but there is also how will they bring back the air bicen if they didn't find air nomads with there own air bicen.

Maybe they won't. I believe the creators said that they has an idea for anouther sub series based in the avatar world but with totally different charecters. But they made it seem like it was just in the idea stage, but since avatar is so popular they'll probably be able to make it.

... you want it to end? Becuase I would love a sub series. Not that i want them to stretch out the current storyline, but to start anouther story would be great. The avatar world is quite awesome, it would be interesting to see what else they could do with it.
