I believe that we should stay as long as we are needed to stay. National Security is not something that can be taken lightly :\

Many brave men and women are overseas fighting because they want to protect this country. If they come home before their job is done then what did those who died fight for? A halfway effort from our part? We should finish what we started. Not give up.

its not pointless i say... they attacked us and killed hundreds in just a few hours and that is not something we take lightly... i think you would say different if your father or mother or just someone you loved died that day.

i agree that we should stay over there abd build there government up so they can defend for them selves and fight there own battles.... and i really don't want that to be a safe haven for terrorists.

i could go on and find different reasons why the war is not pointless but its 3:45AM and last thing i need is my mom breathing down my neck like a dragon telling me to go to bed.... so I'll check back in a few hours GOOD NIGHT PPL!!!!

Here in 2 words is why the war is not pointless:

September 11th

thousands in Americans died. And if we DON'T want something like that to happen again we have to help stop the terrorists before they can do something that again.

and like mini said. Everyday they bomb areas over in Iraq killing innocent people that have nothing to do with this war. And killing American Troops.

sorry,I no understand the video because I can't translate english that fast (because I am spanish) but I know someone from another forum,who I like,and he and his brother are going to war after the election for president ends,and I just want it to end,my american stepbrother has died in that war,I want it to end NOW,too many lives are lost every day
