I can not believe no one has made this thread yet. Let us try to answer the age old question, which is better a Pirate or a Ninja? I do think it is a little ironic that the Avatar world has(or will soon have) both so we ought to decide which is better.
I say pirate! They are much more awesome then Ninja's, much more honest and much less cheesy. I mean, come on! Ninja's never had any magic powers! What the current Animes have done to ninjas is just silly.

Pirate for sure. XD Ninjas lack appeal.. Hollywood alone have made them unattractive. And your right about the anime thing  Pirates are way more entertaining.  Pirates aren't typically the "good guys" (okay.. they never really are) so they show a different side to human nature. |

Historically ninja's were veiwed as couwards who were hired to assasinate people through any means nessisary and hid their faces because otherwise they would have been killed in the light of day. Not historically they have become overly flashy and hiphed up worriors that have unnatural powers and are obnouxious, wheather we are talking about neon orange clad red heads (And come on, Neon Orange? How are you suppose to hide from your enimy in that?) or giant turtles.
Pirates on the other hand were at the very least honest in how they did their dirty work. They plundered and let everyone know about it. They lived by their own rules and tried to be well known. Through various modern mediums they have become heroic but only to the point that it still benifits them. They are awesome, and waaay cooler than ninjas in every way.
