Will there be more airbenders?

the creators said if they decide to go that far it wouldn't matter it wouls only be one bending like if he and a waterbender had kids then the chance is they could get a waterbender, airbender, or nonbender no mixes

I heard the creators said something like "We'll have to change the name of the show" because they were planning to have more airbenders.

Personally, i think thier will be more, i mean they were nomads, most of the air guys and gals traveled a lot, that's why only kids and geezers were at the temple (i think) so it stands to reason that at least a few of them escaped the massacure and went into hideing. I think so anyway.

there aws a question asking them if there would be any more airbenders, they said that there was not much of a chance of there being anymore, do to the fact that the the name is Avatar the last airbender

I don't think there will be more. The creators said at the Comic Con that like all war, there are just some things that can't be fixed afterwards. The loss of the air nomads is a consequence that everyone has to face...

If it got fixed then it would take away from the emotional message. The fire nation wiped out an entire race! And they can't come back. Its a hard truth, and I love how Mike and Bryan are sticking to reality how not everything can be fixed when you say "I'm sorry"

Either the cicle would end or an airbender would spontanously appear, or it would skip to the next bender.

I still want there to be more, but it looks like it won'e happen.
