I think the creators planed this from the beginning, it's why earth benders can't bend plants.

thats true
notice that the avatar creators were the first to notice this, in alot of other shows they have about the elements the earth benders can grow plants and make trees and stuff move

that doesn't make sence wood/plant has water and it is part of the earth. so it should be under water and earth.

It grows from the earth, but i don't think it is actually part of the earth at least not in the avatar universe. See, i think, because of the whole spirit world bit, no one can actaully bend living things, only the things in liveing things.... does that make sense?

Um, sorta. What i mean is bending seems to come from the earth. The spirites who enabled water benders had to become mortal for it and the other benders orginally learned from animals. But the bending itself is always of nonliving things, Air Water Earth and Fire. I beleave that actually bending living things is impossible, it is only possible to bend the nonliving elements inside the liveing elements. That is why "plant bending" isn't possible. It is only possible to bend the water within the plants and let them move with it.
