That is another oftenly asked question.
According to the creators/writers/directors, there will not be another Book for the series.
However, the creators/writers/directors do plan to create a different series of Avatar with a new name and different characters.

Avatarchapters is not a good reference for information about Avatar. They have been known to give out false information before. Now, they aren't as bad as imbd. Now THEY are bad. They take all theories as fact it seems  |

If there is a book air it will not have Aang, Katara and them. Their arc is over.

Well, they certainly are trying to go out in a bang. They are making 3 cartoon movies and 3 live action movies remaking the series, that's what they say anyway, so we get to see more of our favorite characters, only it's going to be like.....when disney makes a movie and then other people make that movie into a play, like snow white, cinderella, etc.
I certainly hope that they don't just let the new series dye, and I will give a far chance before dissing it, even though it will never be the same, I think that it's worth a try as long as they put their heart into it....and it might answer some questions we had, too.
