When Katara and Aang start to have fun with Jet and his friends, though, Sokka is aware that Jet is a criminal and a mean person, so he manages to narrowly foil Jet's plan to wipe out and kill all those innocent people involved. Shortly after a small battle between Aang and Jet over his glider, the gang flies away, leaving Jet iced to a tree, frozen.
