The village discover that a trap was set off and that they were in trouble, so they blamed it all on Aang.
Prince Zuko arrived at the small village and demanded that the Avatar be his, and he will cause no further damage.
Everyone agrees to this, all except Katara.
Meanwhile, on Zuko's ship, Aang manages to partially escape but finds help from Sokka and Katara (who had difficulty trying to fly Aang's pet bison Appa) and the three journey off to help Aang restore balance to the world by mastering all four elements.
