Of course he didn't. He shouldn;t of died. If he had been any kind of smart he wouldn't have, he should of just kept acting brain washed and then helped Aang when the time was right.

ya i don't think jet deserved to die, but somethings have to happen to make a story go on.
for an example: on harry potter 7 Fred didn't deserve to die, but he did, it makes the story go on.

Probably not. He would of Hung out with his own Gang, maybe of looked up his old friends, but he wouldn't of joined the gang. I don't think Katara could ever trust him in a fight, he might of killed someone.

but look at zuko katara learned to trust in him so i think tht she could of learned to trust in jet

But that was different. Katara never would never of let Zuko join if it hadn't been nessesary. and i'm not talking about trust, well i am, but what i mean Katara would of trusted him to a point, but not in a fight so she might ally with him but she wouldn't stay in the same group gang thing as him.
