The creators would have made her axicuted if she wasn't coming back.
She will be found.(for Zuko's sake)

Well, we know Zuko's going to look for Ursa.. whether he finds her alive or dead we can be sure to expect more backstory on Ursa. Some development that (hopefully!) helps the plot of the show

I think Iroh will find Ursa first and then the gang will run across Iroh and Ursa. Then Iroh will help Zuko and Aang with firebending. And Ursa will help smooth the friction between Katara and Zuko. Ursa and Iroh will be there when Aang brings down Oazi.
