sokka's sword is unique and defines his growth into warriorhood. with it he has learned to fight and defend while still allowing him to work with the others as part of the team. the creation of it was like a rite of passage. he is no longer the odd one out now he can fight like the rest.

sure it's a cool sword but it's pretty gay that they made it by poring the metal into a mould.....
