i know im not exactly a member of this board. but i read this and was wanting to put in my theory.. i mean if you think about it the master skills have to do with the elements of what they are bending. earthbending=metal in earth. for example.. if blood bending is something water benders can do it makes sense cause water is a major portion of the human body. so if there is a master skill in air bending it would have to do with what air is made up of. you have things like oxigen in it. nitrogen.. all sorts of different things in the air. i have no idea what the master skill of air bending is but im positive that the viewers will be pleasently supprised by it. and also the 4th book of the series is called air.. so im sure the avatar has probably not mastered air bending and needs to find a way to do it.. but. on another note. ive only seen tough use a master skill. none of the others yet and its quite possible that ang cant even use the master skills. cause even tho iso is a master he cant use the lightning that the firelord can. he says it takes a certain type of person to be able to. much like toughs.. sorry if i spelled the name wrong. just thought id add that tho lol.this is a good idea. i looked at it slightly differently but with this as a starting point. use of the ions and molecules in the air would make a good masterskill for airbenders. if you break down air you could save life (with oxygen), make people pass out (with carbon dioxide), or kill (with carbon monoxide). if you use the parts of air seperately you can create explosive compounds, oxidize mentals(rust), or change ph of water. any of these would work as a masterskill. but i don't know if any of these are strong enough to be the masterskill for air bending.
