he just channeled it back to his father like what iroh taught him

I think he will learn to bend lighitning. Iroh stated that Zuko could not before do to his torn emotions, and anger. Now he is no longer angry, and he has finally made a decision. So he is no longer torn between what he feels and what he wants. So as he relearns fire bending he should beable to learn to bend lightning also.

iroh know zuko is torn between right and wrong. he will most likely forgive him especially since zuko is helping aang now.

true but i think iroh is gonna help aang and zuko not only bend lightning but also enhance their fire bending. Also help release the prisoners.

I think he will learn to bend it now. The reason he couldn't origionally seems to be that his fire bending was only that of rage. There in he didn't have the firebending consentration for lightening since it is supposed to be the Calm fire bending
