I have a theory that Zuko's going to die in the end doing something heroic. I don't know why.... it's a pretty recurrent occurrence when someone's an outsider who isn't completely trusted.
On another note... is anybody else pissed off that Aang can't go Avatar State anymore? I really hope he undoes that somehow. -______-;

well, for the first thing you said, it seems plausible that something like that might happen, eventhough i do hope it doesn't, for Zuko is my favorite character for the second thing you said, yes, i am getting pretty annoyed at that, too....but I, personally, didn't enjoy whenever he was in the avatar state, for it seemed to make him....unnatural of his....human form, i guess i could say....

Yeah, I don't want it to happen either. I like Zuko... though I'm pretty damn pissed off at him for helping Azula the psycho against Iroh and Aang at the end of book 2. But I still get a creeping feeling that something'll happen to him. I've seen this scenario before. Deja vu..... of course, I could be completely wrong and missing the target altogether.
And word. I kind of like when Aang went all seemingly heartless and super powerful. Obviously, the fun-loving goofy little kid was more lovable, but I still think he was cool in Avatar state. And how cool would it be if he could go in and out of it as he pleased?

I mean...it was pretty awesome when Roku owned Sozin in the Avatar state under his control. Right?

The Avatar State is a driving force for the theme of the show, the battle of power vs. love.. or love vs. hate. The Avatar State is symbolic in a BA kind of way.. It'll come back into play and I have no doubt we'll see Aang in it at least one more time

I hope Zuko does not die. That would completely kill the story lines. For when Aang takes out the Fire Lord who is to take over as ruler. Azula?? She is as bad as her father. Iroh?? He does not have the heart to rule any longer. Zuko's mother?? No fire lord has been female. There have been no leads to another family member or other outside possibility. Zuko can't die unless there is another ruler.
As for the Avatar State before Aang can reuse it he must overcome his self doubts and fears and learn to depend on himself. As long as he feels he has failed the world and his friends he will never be able to reopen the chakra that became sealed. In time I feel he will learn to be self dependant but at this time he isnot.

Why do you think female can't be the Firelord? Even though women has never been the Firlord it doesn't say they can't. Is there any rule says they can't? And who the hell will be the Firelord after Aang killes Ozai If Zuko dies?! Ur dumb

response to ZUZU post
If you will read what I said I stated that unless there is another ruler Zuko can not die. You need to read what is written before you jump to conclusions. And as for a female firelord if you follow the storyline no former female has been firelord (lord- as in male) and if that was an easy possibility than Oazi would have made Azula fire lord over Zuko when he disowned Zuko.

well, I doubt they will kill off Zuko.
And Aang is probably going to gin his avatar state powers right before he needs to use them. it'll either be because katara dies or he has to let go of her to save the world. I sure Hope Katara doesn't die though

When Aang learn to be a skilled fire bender, he may also regain the Avatar state. While training with Zuko( esspecially if Iroh helps them both train) Aang will find a way to reopen his chakras nd regain his strongest power. He will not be able to defeat Ozai without the Avatar state.
