I'm new here (literally) and I just saw that there was a fanfiction contest and nearly blew up from shock.

Would it be okay if I posted mine here? I mean, it's not the best, but there's no hurt in trying, right?

Um, it says that there has to be interactions between two characters, one major and one minor, but they don't exactly interact with each other in my story. More like one interacts with the other, but the other doesn't interact with one. I kinda' made it into a memory-flashback sequence with Katara and her mother.

I must warn you though, it is not very good and I whipped this up in about 10 minutes...

;D No! Feel good about what you write! It's the only way you can improve (if you think you can)! I, for one, always do that to my writing. I always think its bad and that there's no way on Earth someone would want to read it.

And then I get a reply back and I'm all giddy and excited! So feel good about it! You'll feel good too!

I already know your writing will be so much more better then you think. Heck, you've made the contest, I bet you love to read and write!

Of course I love to read and write. My procrastination is not caused by lack of confidence in my writing.. I would write whether someone reads it or not! lol. Its caused by lack of motivation to write. I've been doing summer homework for my honors english class this fall and it drains me from all motivation lol

I (occasionally... ;D) feel really lazy and I WILL NOT go anywhere near Microsoft Word for days on end.
