That's not how wrinkles work. They are a direct result of stress put on the face as well as the elements it is exposed to. Besides, she was grangran's friend, she had to have been old.

The Fire Nation actually don't seem that bad. Not that i like them, but they don't seem like they would actually starve their prisoners to death. At least there is no evidence to support that.
