Well, its possible they kissed during the Cave of Two Lovers, but we have no concrete evidence that they did.

My friend told me that there was a short "episode" and Katara was reviewing what happened(before the invassion) and my friend said when she (katara) got to the C2Ls she said she would not say what happened in the cave. What do you think? |

I saw that too. Its called Season 2 Recap. Its on turbonick.
And she said that she would never tell what happened in the cave.. but we know that she considered it romantic at least.
Its left ambiguous.
