Tokka was an original plan like other ships (Jetara, Kataang, Maiko). Yeah, like you said its something they through it for more character development. Toph was originally gonna be a guy, but they thought making her a female would be better for her character.  |

lol noodle. What converted you to Tokka? I like Tokka. I like it over Sukka but I don't hate Sukka because its obvious that Suki and Sokka do love each other.. poor Toph tho.. Tokka lives in fanfiction.. and I can roll with that B-) i dont realy know how i converted to Tokka,it just came that they madea better couple than Sukka and it was cuter and made her seem more sensitive. shes normally blushing around him which makes me ...idk, happy for her that now she found someone that CAN make her smile wothout it coming from the pain or insults from someone!!!! |

no. it was like a rewrite. you know when you write a story you go back and add or subtract? well they must have changed toph and added the crush as they went along. beside a guys treated the way toph was? get real. if she was a guy her parents would have treated him/her different. it would change the whole story.
