The whole raeson zutara even started is in the "water bending scroll" when zuko has kataras hand in his. i think that someone has it as thier flag but i forgot who.

Zutara started as a kind of dark and alluring romance. Zuko was mean and seemingly very powerful, Katara was cureently weak and kind, but also strong willed. Then Zuko tied Katara to the tree and it became something more. The idea that they she hated him, but they would end up together, was cute. Not to mention his too cool attitude,and her not being fased at all by it as well as both of thier bemused smiles. Watch that episode again, and you might see the attraction to the ship, even if you must deny their attraction at the time. Then there was also the slow revealation of how troubled zuko was and his sad past which created sympathy and all his fangirls wanted him to have a kind but also strong girlfriend (awesumeing of course that they could not have him). Katara and Zuko were thrown together again at the north pole, where they fought each other. His condisending attitude and her proveing him wrong just contributed to the "hate covering the love" senario that just makes you want to squeal with the cuteness (ok, maybe not you but me). Then Zuko had to find himself, Katara's offer to help his uncle was seen as that she had some simpathy for him, his rejection was unfornate but maybe he did not want the one he loved to see him so hurt. Then of course was the famouse cave scene, that needs no explaining. Many see Mai as a rebound after Zuko blew his chance with Katara (i don't, i'm not that blind to the facts) and the fact that Katara now hates him adds some passion to their underlaying attraction. That is how Zutara happened, and why it is awesome, even if it is not true.

I guess i should also mention "Bluetara" somewhat started by that chibi short. The idea that Katara would be attracted to Zuko while he was disguised as the Blue spirit doing heroic things. This was increased by Katara adopting her own alter idenity, and although i think it would be intrigueing if the painted lady and the blue spirit ever met or had to work together, there was never any real cannon evidence of Bluetara.

That is all i have to say. If i have left anything out Zutarians, please add on.

Ummm, your post is confusing, but just to clearify my post was to try and explain how we see Zutara and how it evolved. I'm not saying that its true because of everything I said, I'm just trying to show why I and other Zutarians are attracted to the ship and why we think it might be real.
