They all do have secret attacks, that what keeps the show interesting. Not to mention Sokka's "SUPRISE ATTAC-" slam. fall.

well at least he can do his special thingy without the full moon. besides technically his lightning diversion is a special move (only him and zuko can do it). and he must of used some super awesome attacks we don't know about to escape the jail.

Or just the lightning. And Katara can probably use the blood bending without the full moon, and even if she can't its still way better than the other attcks. All of them can be countered or dodged, but not the complete controll of your body.
